Went to install the 572 and realized it's an 8 bolt crank and my 6 bolt B&M flex plate won't bolt up so I'm stuck till I get a replacement. Any recommendations on something that will hold up to 900+ Hp with a brake? Ohh and I need to order this overnight so quick help is appreciated.

I use the SFI Certified B & M ones on all our racecars.
SFI will be required on all V8 NHRA Stockers no matter how
slow next year.
I do not know if the still make the 8 hole plate anymore
but they probably do so.

B&M 10231 is not in stock anywhere till the end of July, Trying to get the car together for Carlisle in a week....TCI has one but don't see SFi Cert on it even know its over 50 bucks more then B&M. Ill try A&A..

Mazzolini Racing may have one in stock.

Bob is a successful racer and many others have
raced out of his shop. He will understand the rush.
I raced out of his shop for years in the last century!
Tell him GTX John sent you and he will take good care
of you.

I believe mine is a Coan SFI 8 bolt behind my Hemi with no issues.

I'm not a fan of the B&M. Broke two of the 8 bolt style on my racecar. I've had conversations with Rick Allison and Lou Mancini about them. The B&M design is a drive plate. It does not flex, it cracks around the converter bolt holes. A&A is a new design.

I have never had an issue with the
production Mopar flex plates. I think
the SFI rule was made for the problems
arising from the heavy GM flex plates
breaking.
Truth be told, I doubt tech will every check
it anyway. Some cars would require the trans
to be removed or at least separated from the engine
and moved back.
In my opinion, any solid (No holes in ears) plate would
work fine on a Mopar. I have run even considerably
higher HP engines in our Outlaw cars without ever a problem.

Got INDY on the phone this morning and they had a B&M 10231 they will send overnight...
