Call TTI and order a set from them.

It isn't that bad. I had a set on the 383 in the 67 barracuda. I was younger then, so time and stamina wasn't a problem.
TTI fit better, but not by much. they are pretty though.

Did you have any trouble installing them, I am about to order a set.

Dougs all the way. Even the ttis gave me fits. 6 sets of dougs now and not one issue. D452 and d451

You forgot the step where you throw them away. :D
Oh man....
I had a FREE pair for a 67-76 A body. FREE and they still were not worth it. I tried and tried to get them to work. I ended up yanking them and threw them in the truck for the next swap meet. At that event, I had a sign on them...FREE!!!!!
I had guys asking if I was serious. It took 3 or 4 guys before someone actually picked them up and left with them. I actually laughed out loud to the guy when I said GOOD LUCK !!!

:) :)
I used the Hedman Elite Headers on my 440 in a 69 Coronet and they fit pretty well. No need to raise the engine, passenger side fits like a glove, driver side only needed a ding for torsion bar clearance. An overall good product in my book...

I was going to use Dougs, but the RB version (D452) are 2" primary and 3.5" collector.
I'm thinkin that's a bit large for a warmed up 440.
Are the D451 specific to a B block application?

Hedmanns better than the old thin-walled Hookers, mi says...........

My experience was passenger side... like butter! No problems at all. Driver's side, test fit, beat with hammer, test fit, beat with hammer, and repeat until clearance of the steering is complete. :)

Right side wasn't bad, just a little ding for the fast ratio arm. Left side was a nightmare. In and out 20 to 30 times. Dinged for starter (mini), torsion bar, steering column and the very worst, the power steering box. Buy TTI !!!!!!!!!!!!!

451 are specific to b block and are also smaller primaries.

Also dogs do require an mini starter but are not capture starter design on he 451 b headers

Do you have the part number......there are so many different ones on their site for Mopars.

Don't think I've ever used that brand but have used plenty of 'offbrand' stuff like Blackjack and others....but seems the Blackjack name is now owned by Dynomax. Don't remember the Dynomax name back in the late 60's early 70's.

Had a set of Hooker SC's on a 71 340 Cuda that lasted more than 15 years and one of the good things about them was I could remove and replace the stock starter without unbolting them. It was a tight squeeze but if you held your mouth just right, it was doable.
