You know how they have the neighborhood websites called nextdoor.com. I got a "kick" out of this one. The lady had let her cat out and it was about 7:30 pm. She heard what she describe as a ruckus at the front door. When she opened the door she saw a larger brown dog attacking her cat, so she started kicking the dog. It raised its head, turning its attention away from her cat and it was a large mountain lion.

There have been numerous sightings of mountain lions in the area. It's kind of a leave them alone and they'll leave you alone policy and if you see one don't start running. Still, this one cracked me up. Housecat is recovering.
