New to board, not Mopars, though its been awhile since I built a B-Body. Current project-69 Road Runner, 383 (gone), 4-spd, lots of green- really? Were people that into green ext/interior back then? Its all there, but 400 sitting where 383 should be....Future- 440/4spd...not real sure interior colors, though black will be involved, just building a boulevard bruiser, nothing radical.
Older projects were all Chargers- 73, 71, 70, 69, and 68, back in CA. Now in eastern panhandle of Wild Wonderful, so been building trucks, tripped over the Road Runner, so....wife is 'helping', lol, she did a lot of the final bodywork and paint on my 74 W300 extended cab...and has been tweaking on this one already :headbang: Yeah- my wife rocks. As for me- professional musician, divemaster, and pain in the....

Welcome, I'm down in the diagonal opposite end of the state, around Barboursville.

Not sure if people were into green back then, but the production planners sure were.

Green RR's

welcome to FBBO... from the west-by-god-California, any photos of your Green 69 RR... I do love them RR's... Here's a couple of the very nice green RR's form 69 & 69-1/2, none of them mine, unfortunately, enjoy....

I think a lot of the green was bought by older folks, more discreet folks, and people who drove them less like performance cars and more like transportation, and more of them survived that way. Red, orange, yellow etc all were high impact, and ya KNOW we were always yelling at the driver to "turn it loose". A lot of them got turned loose :)

I like the green! Actually its interesting because so many cars back in the 60s were greens and tans and browns - the Mopar yellows and lime greens really turned heads. Funny how times change - but now for me seeing an old green mopar is what gets my attention!

Thanks all.... I wasn't saying green was bad, just not redoing it. And its my luck, but this one, my 69 and 70 Chargers were green interior. Pics will be up once I get some time- project car, but not that bad....
Thanks especially for posting the pics- they are nice images.

Welcome aboard! WV is a beautiful state.. Went years ago to a town called Grantsville to visit some of my wife's relatives.. Pretty sure that was the towns name, heck its only been 33 years ago :)
