Hey guys. I need to replace the 2 inner headlights which I assumed were the high beams but when I tap the floor button the 2 outer lights brighten & dim. Based on that am I assuming that when all 4 lights are on they are normal brightness but when I tap the button all 4 lights then become high beams also?

Thanks in advance,
Roger

The two outer lamps are 37W on dim, and 55W (ish) on High beam. The inner two lamps are also 55W on High beam - giving 4 x 55W on High.
These numbers are based on what I believe to be factory numbers.
If you change to a higher wattage High Beam lamp, you may need to run relays to protect your wiring and switches from overload.
Hope that helps.

Just for the heck of it I would change / replace the floor dimmer switch with a new one.

How do you convert to 4 on low and then to 4 on high??
Swap out the 2-pin inner lampholders for 3-pin units, change the inner lamps to dual wattage.
Then you will have to run relays to avoid overloading the circuits, wiring and switches etc.
basically parallel the wiring off the outer lamps.
