My first car was a red/red 1964 Fury. 383/4spd.
Recently, I came across an almost identical car.
It's a survivor that needs only cosmetic freshening after sitting in a commercial building for the past decade or so and being at the mercy of squirrels.
Can't believe my good luck in owning one of these again at my age. (61) Thank You to all of the FBBO members who are answering my questions about how to get this thing back in shipshape. What a trip!

Guys like you and I (Almost 61) are very lucky that we have our cars and this board! Good luck with yours!

Add me to that list too. I've had my car for 43 years - I'm 61 as well. Thx for the pics of yours.

Looks like a great ride

I've had my 64 SF max wedge for 44 years now! I'm slowly but surely getting restored! It hasn't been driven since 1981 it's last jaunt was at the dragstrip in Seattle!

Love the old pic. I would have given a nut to have a car like that in high school. I'm trying to make up for it now.

Love the 64's! Mine was bought new by our neighbor the year I started 1st grade. I took a liking to it, and spent many a day shooting the breeze with him when I was a teenager. I was finally able to buy it from his son many years after both he and his wife passed away. It still looks pretty much the same except I put a set of 14" Magnum 500's on it and hung the original hub caps in my garage....232323232fp43587_nu=3243_938__8;_WSNRCG=35986264_6326nu0mrj.jpg
