Hood Surgery!

My Satellite hood is good, yet to be blasted, but, will soon enough! I've been collecting 69 RR Hoods with air intakes for a few years, have 3 so far, and a spare 69 Satellite hood. The Satellite Hood has the cool ripples in the middle of the hood vs. the smoothness of the RR hood. One of my RR hoods is junk, but, the air intake call outs are serviceable. I'm thinking of making the spare Satellite hood into a hybrid with the RR hood call outs grafted on top, and slightly enlarged a bit. I'm debating if this would look cool, or be sacrilegious?

I think that would look good. As long as the hood is junk, you got to put those callouts on something. OOOOH, just had a thought. Dodge Ram hood.

That could look good, it would probably stump a few people, if it was done right...

The 68/69 RR GTX hoods are very flat, call-outs look awesome on 'em, and, you're right, tons of Satellite hoods out there, I'm going to do this mod, will take some pictures of the specimen's in a day or two.
