How do you i d the year of a 727 trans

Look thru the hole and see if u just see metal or plastic. Plastic is the 3 pin. Metal is the single pin. Ofcource it depends on the year of your vehical. 68 and back is single pin. 69 up is 3 pin. U may have to mix and match cause the valve body may be a different year also. Kim

So I took a look and this is what I see ... I am guessing by the color this is plastic so I need the three pin switch?
