Its nice to have a resolution to this but sometimes people need to know that the other party has much resolve to see it through.

Glad to see this is gonna end well, always sucks to see a guy sure another guys (unless your into that sort of thing).
Seems to me even if there was a bit of trouble he had to deal with, it takes 5 minutes to send an email, text, quick phone call with an update saying "hey bud, my neighborhood is on fire and my grand kid is in the hospitol, Im gonna send your ****, just need a bit of time to catch my breath and deal with this stuff first"...
I had a guy I bought a 70 bee rear bumper from, and he just woundnt ship it, I didn't want a big stink on moparts, so I just dealt with him, when a friend said to call local authorities, I did and I had his number, the desk set called him on three way and said "hey Mr X, this is set A, you took money off MR B for goods you never shipped, is this true, and before you answer I want to warn you not to lie to me, and that if you do and I can prove it, the item was $550 and thats a felony because you premeditated a conspiracy over the internet to gain funds illegally" (it was something like that), and he said "I haven't shipped it but I couldn't find a box" So the cop said "you bring that bumper down to john at shipping expos and he will find you a box and send ti for you, tell him I sent you"
It worked out, he found a box, and I got the bumper, I sent that desk sgt an edible arrangement, and he called me to ask who I was, and when I told him he remembered and said thank you and he was glad it worked out for me...

I had just listed a Marshall half stack on eBay right before Katrina hit. I evacuated to Lafayette in a hurry without grabbing anything but my guitars and some clothes and documents. When the auction ended, I went back to New Orleans two days later, before the city was officially opened and picked up the gear. Brought it back to Lafayette and shipped them from there. There is no excuse.
