We just had 3 1/2 month of solid sunshine... If you dont drive it in the rain then whats my answer but if snow is the cutoff we have 10-11 months to enjoy driving

Normally from the mid/end of April to Halloween! Then it's sitting in the garage for the winter..... 409762_10151180830551807_2092776085_n.jpg

NW Indiana I would say 6-8 months depending on the year. When the Coronet gets finished i will probably store it around Nov 1st and take it back out in April.

Snow, well to some they would say its significant but I spent 5 years in the place that gets the most snow in the country (Houghton, Mi)...so I find the snowfall lackluster. Is it insane to think that I would prefer more snow? I think of a foot as a dusting lol.

Well,if I get her out tonight(weather is supposed to be great),it'll be the 9th month this year. Considering that we didn't have a winter last year, and the car was running by March,it was easy. Hope to get a drive in November if we're lucky;otherwise it's teardown time for some needed and desired work.

Wow, I'm so happy to read so many contributions to this thread. It's really cool to hear from so many of you from all over the U.S. and also really cool to hear from those of you in Canada, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, etc.

Anyone who hasn't chimed in yet - keep 'em comin'!

some say I'm from Mars, it's hot as hell here...LOL...

About the same as propwash, sometimes in November we get a couple weeks that we can enjoy though.

April through late October in Pittsburgh. It does not snow a lot here like Buffalo, NY, but I use heavy oil (20w-50) and worry about the cold effecting the viscosity of it.

Closing even quicker for me on the east cast. The storm is calling for snow starting Monday. 80 degrees today and close to 70 tomorrow. I am taking my R/T to work for the last time until spring.

I suspect a full third of these responses. It is not just the weather, it is road conditions. Growing up in northeast Pennsylvania it was the melt-freeze melt-freeze followed by months of potholes that shortened the season. Salt, crap and unpredictable weather made it more like 3 months of decent weather and road conditions.

Hope to use it 12 month, taking one car to Florida for the winter this year, but normally 9 month in Maryland.
