Apart for paint and body work. Paint should be on within a week or so. Still a whole lotta work to do. Going to be awhile. Want to see how fast it will go on 9" tire
Frame rail caps maybe? My car will always be "in progress", as there's always something or other that needs to be addressed. I'll never be able to afford to do a complete strip down/restoration with paint and body work. I'm hoping to get the trunk floor replaced and maybe some frame rail repairs where they've rusted from the inside in a couple of spots in a few years. I drive it about 1500 miles a year to cruise in's and to work once in a while now though. I've redone the whole suspension, put in a strange s-60 and replaced the 727 with a tko-600, redid the whole fuel system and converted to Holley Sniper EFI last year. I expect I could probably daily drive it. Kind of worried about those couple spots on the frame rails though...scared how much that's going to cost since that kind of work isn't something I'll be able to do myself and it's probably worse than it looks. I sure do love cruising her around when I get the chance though.

Maybe....the cracked/rusted through spot is on the front left frame rail, where it starts to go up, right behind the front tire. Some jackass tow truck driver tried to hook in the frame there to pull it up on his rollback and ripped the frame a couple of inches, from there a crack has formed that goes up around the side of the frame rail Obviously rusted from the inside...the outside looks good except where it's cracked, so I'm worried that there are other areas that are bad.Frame rail caps maybe?
Think I saw that car in HR rag recently.....?It is a driver during the summer and a project during the winter. Just pulled the engine out today so I can start on the to do list.
