I'll gladly pay $1,000.00 reward to anyone that can locate my original 70 Road Runner.
    RM21N0E132917
It's not stolen or anything like that, it's just my original car I bought brand new back in June of 1970 from the Chrysler/Plymouth dealer on West Glendale Ave in Phoenix, AZ.
I traded it in to Don Sanderson Ford in 1973 (yes I'm sorry). That's the last know where-bouts.
Lime Green Metallic, 383 four speed car. AM radio, 3:23 open rear end, dust trail stripes on side, flat black hood stripe, hood pins, rally wheels, tan interior, map light. No other options.

      Orange RR 70 RM21N0E116640
BLUE 68 RM21H8A208484 (this is my current car but I have no history on it)
      Bill’s Cars
      1967 R/T WS27L77193017
      1969 BEE WM23H9A216986

Looking for history on mine. I'd say our chances range from slim to none, closer to none.

Good luck with the search, I hope that it still exists.

Taking a look at that old photo (where I assume that everything is original) I notice how crooked the factory applied the dust trail decal.

I think that may have been a bit of a photographic illusion. It was pretty straight as far as I remember. But those were production line cars back then and careful attention to every detail was not standard procedure. However, the price was $2795 brand new! So I guess it was still a good deal ;)

Never hurts to put the info out there. Especially if you have a VIN for it. Sending the info out to various Mopar clubs in the last known vicinity my also be helpful.

Tried everything. If you bundle it with yours and get a bite, let me know. I will do the same.

Thanks Dennis and Snakeyes. Yeah, it's worth a try to find these old cars and who knows, some of us might get lucky but the odds aren't very good. Back in 1973 when I traded in my RR and gas lines were long, you almost couldn't give these cars away. It was a huge change in times and pretty much everyone assumed it was the end of all non-fuel efficient cars. Most wound up in junk yards, stripped and crushed. The ones that survived, to a large extent, were owned by people who didn't have to use them for daily transportation. (If only we'd known :/ )
At that time I switched over to riding (and racing) motorcycles as I watched the new car models get worse and worse year after year. For the next 20 years or so I just had motorcycles and pick up trucks for my transportation. At least over that time you could still get some serious high performance motorcycles to get your adrenaline kicks with. ;)

By the way, that picture Photon440 posted of my old RR was taken near 19th Ave and Cactus Rd in Phoenix. If anyone on this forum was around that area back then, cursing Central and having fun I'd like to hear from you.

I know this is an old post, but did you ever find it???
I noticed the one at the link below for sale. Does not list the full vin, but what they do list matches and states it started out as a 383 from az and seems to match your description:

Hi Vtdodge, Naw, I haven't located my original car. I really didn't think there was much of a chance. But if I didn't try I'd never know for sure.
By the way, all of the 70 Road Runners produced with 383's had the same first part of the VIN, RM21NOE. Thanks for dropping me a line :) RRDon
