I took my first load from Petersburg, Va. to Fargo, ND. Then reloaded in Milbank, SD. for Elberton, Ga. She didn't pass a truck stop that she didn't want to stop and get fuel at.

They seem to think that the problem is a pinhole in the wiring...SOMEWHERE!!

So tell me. How do you get a pinhole in some wiring and how would that cause the problems you had??

How the pinhole got there, I have no idea, if that was even the cause of the issues. I kept getting Engine Fault codes and every time I brought it in to the dealer, the codes were coming up as "Communication failures". Meaning that the DPF sensors were sending codes to the ECM that were not able to be read. They changed the sensors twice, re-flashed the ECM and spent countless hours trying to get an active code so that they could try and repair it. No luck, and I tried 3 different dealers. The down time was killing me and my wallet. It was all covered under warranty, but the warranty doesn't pay the bills. So I contacted Paccar, the parent company of Peterbilt and Kenworth, and started the negotiating process. Thankfully, they did the right thing.

Have never much cared for the aero look with the big rigs. Sure some are pretty nice looking but what you got now is the Norma Jean of trucks!!

Might have been a Lucas wiring loom (Prince of Darkness) and all the smoke escaped from the wires. There is a kit that can cure that problem, without having to get a new truck....

But seriously @Ironbuilt ...that is one cool rig, and it looks like you'll ride in both comfort and style. Congrats.

Sounds more like the humans can't communicate with the computer while the computer is having problems communicating with the vehicle. Sounds like a headache.

We just got downgraded to fuckin binders with a nuetered cummins and piece of **** 10 spd autos. Poorly specced out pile of **** that some fuckin bean counter that doesnt drive a truck picked out for us. Wish i could pick out their office furniture. 5 gallon bucket for a chair and a sheet of plywood on concrete blocks for a desk oughta fix those cheap pricks.
