If you were going to get an A body, then

That is a sharp looking car. The B-5 with black stripes is a hard-to-beat combination.
I've owned several A body cars. Most were beaters but I have owned one 340 car, a 360 car and the rest were an even split between slanty and 318 models.
Of all of them, I've never owned a Demon.
The oldest was a 65 Dart, the newest was a 76 Dart Sport.
My first was a 69 318 2 door. I love the 67-69 Darts. After that, I love any year Duster. The 67-69 Barracudas have some following but I'm not all that crazy about them. I actually prefer the Notch styling over the fastback.

I've wanted a '70 Duster or a '68/'69 Dart since before I had a drivers licence. I'm good with my choice...

I have a early car as well. It is more fun than my Swinger just because of the HP 273/833 combo. It has faded original paint so I don't have to be very careful around it.

The manual transmissions really make the fast cars even MORE fun to drive.

I had this '74 Duster for a couple of years....

I converted it to look like a '71 340 model with a few liberties....

I built a 360 for it with the '508 cam. I converted the car to a 4 speed and also added in a B body 8 3/4" axle with 3.55 gears.
The car was a pig though. Power was weak! Maybe it was the smog-era 360 heads, maybe the low compression with too much cam, who knows. I never warmed up to this car despite it being nice looking and having a 4 speed. B-5 with black stripes looks fantastic though....
If I had this car back, I'd get to the bottom of the pitiful performance it had.

I would love a clean B or C body 4 door.

1972 Demon GSS
If that's the one offered by Mr. Norm, that's the one I would want also. Note, the Duster, Demon, & Cuda had larger rear fender wells. I always liked the ability to install larger tires without having to cut. One thing about the Duster / Demon was the short lived availability of an aftermarket duck tail spoiler, Like the T A Challenger, that is incredibly hard to find. I recall seeing a couple of Super stockers & Pro stockers with them. One was on a car owned by Carmen Rotunda and the other was Billy the Kid?? Way back in the day, J C Whitney had a slew of scoops & spoilers and I am sure they must have had them. I love all the A & E bodies as well as the B's.

Well the ‘68 Dart GTS is number one for me, a long time love since 1981. Second choice would be a ‘70 swinger and then the ‘71 Demon. Powertrain on all three would be 340/4 speed. The Swinger would be a bench seat car with 3.91’s, I like the 4:30 that were in my GTS for years but I would go 3.55’s on the GTS and demon.

70-71 Duster, 71 Demon, or a 69 Barracuda fastback. Here's my Duster. 408, 4-speed. Light, quick, handles great, and is a blast to drive.

I have one of I believe 5 1974 Duster X. An experimental, emissions exempt, factory 451 stroker build. With all steel tilt front-end. Drag pack reversed valve body 727 with 4:56:1 rear.

Ok. So the car is not a factory experimental. And just a home garage build. But still fun hotrod!

1967-69 Barracuda Knotchback 383 4 Speed. I drove one almost 50 years ago and have never been the same since!
