The rusty cast iron PH250 small block water pump (six vane) needed a renewal after having been installed ten years ago (with very little mileage): see foto #1.
A power drill and brush miraculously removed almost all the surface rust. Next was a coat of Ospho: see foto #2.
Now I look around my paint stash to find RustOleum "High Heat" with the image of an outside bar-b-que on the label. I thought the paint was black, but it matches the cap color which is more of a silver. Now my cast iron water pump has the appearance of aluminum. Will it fool anybody (lol)?
