Can anyone tell me if a High Rise manifold will fit under the hood of a 66 Belvedere with a 440. I do not have a scoop, it is just a stock flat hood. Also what is a good low end torque high rise and if you have one for sale I may be interested.

Well after researching this question a little i see that a edelbrock rpm may be the way to go unless I install my hood scoop. Correct me if I am wrong.

good manifold and one with a drop base should fit. Someone recently said they had one on a 67 and i can't imagine much different.

I think the type of carb & /air cleaner might have an impact on hood clearance.
please correct me if I am wrong,

What about kick down linkage and drop base air cleaners? Isn't there interference with that combo?
I'm getting a Performer RPM and a little worried about it fitting under the hood. Switching from Torker II to the RPM.
