into a 73 Roadrunner?

Has anyone tried to install an A500 into a 73 B-body or know of someone that has? I'm familiar with what's needed to put one in an A-body but a fellow I know asked me to check into installing one in his 73 RR. Do you also have to mod the upper crossmember loop on them or are they big enough for the fat OD of the A500 unit to clear?

Did a 518 in a 72 B. Yeah allot of chopping to make it fit. Cut the cross member, rework the mount and the floor.Lots of trial and error. 500 will have a bit more room.That was 14 years ago.Never even thought to take photos.

Look into page 4 engine,trans driveline a518 transswap into 73 charger I just posted some pics of my wife's 71 ssp I've done 3 of these so far and getting ready to do another 73 charger this winter

Custom, approx how long does it take you to do the metal re-work? Since I haven't done it yet I'll figure twice as long, lol

Don't quote me, as said above lots of trial and error.Also just working when you can, I would say 3-4 weeks or a total of 30+ hours.
