I don't know why, but I've been seeing a LOT of A bodies coming on the market. I just did a check of FL and South Georgia and found 33 of them for sale! Some of these are restored cars, but even more look to be unrestored originals that folks have been sitting on hoping they would become the next rusty gold specialty and now they're getting rid if them.

Sure wish I was a Duster/Demon guy!!!

If I found the right A-body (70-71 340 with a/c painted in plum crazy), I'd consider it.

I'd love to have a 68 GTS 383 or a 67-69 Barracuda formula S 383 again in the future maybe...
Even another 70-71 Demon or Duster or same body styles "rust free", clone a 60's racecar or SS,
Hell I can't leave well enough alone "ever"...

I have no extra room & no extra funds or I'd have a bunch more Mopars

I ain't doing anymore rust buckets thou...
it ain't worth the effort anymore,
only western cars, pref. running & driving, that are more complete even...

Could be that everybody is finally realizing how ugly they are? Just messin but I've never been a fan of them except the 67 Barracudas (I like my big cars).

See a lot more A-Bodies for sale vs. B-bodies around here, but that's pretty typical.

Been so busy working on everyone else's ride, Finallllllllyyy got working on mine. Below is my Jewel of the Nile. Onward to my drip rails that are filled to the brim with hardened black butyl caulk!!!!!!!!! Brilliant!!!!

Check out St. Lois CL. There are a ton of Mopars for sale on there! There was even a 56 Fury on there.

If I could find a clean 69 Dart GT like the one I owned in my youth I would get it in a heartbeat. T5 Bronze, Black Vinyl top & bucket seat interior, originally a 273 but dropped a +.040" 400" in it with a hydraulic cam and 4.10 geared 8-3/4" Fast little car!

Picture from about 1986 or 87 next to my friends 68 Firbird 400 tri-power, 4 speed, 4.88 gears.

Right now, I'm in the middle of a project & I'm tapped out for space. A puple A-body will have to remain on the bucket list for now.

I've got a 340 I may be putting on the market soon. I can paint it purple before I ship it if you'd like.

is that so??? do you have the specs on it? I have a little Dart that is crying for a 340...

No A-body, or any body for that matter. Just an engine. Shouldn't take up too much space.

I don't. I know it was rebuilt right before I bought it. I had it running when I first got it but had pulled the engine since.

I was trying to get help with the cam identification but got zero response.

There's a few pics of the motor and heads on my tread. I can get any info you want off of it. I will tell you the carb is better off replaced but everything below that is in good shape.
