Is Moparmall safe to do business with?

Ordered something from Moparmall on the 25th and received a proper confirmation of order from them on the 26th and also a paid invoice from Atlas Obsolete Motor Parts. Since then I’ve heard nothing. Sent an inquiry Monday to both but so far no response. Sent a follow-up today.

Has anyone dealt with them before?

No I haven't dealt with them, but I was tempted on the door handles and a couple of other parts.

Supposed to be a NOS part so I wouldn’t think it could be an out of stock issue or waiting on a 3rd party supplier. I will try to call tomorrow if no response.

It’s only been three or four complete business days since your order confirmation, are you getting a little prematurely worried? In our fast food society I think we are beginning to expect immediate gratification these days which is always achievable?

Anyway. I hope you have good success with them and your purchase and if you do please report back and let us know that they are good to go. Or aren’t (hopefully not)

Actually, today is 6 business days since I placed the order. I am used to see in-stock products shipped within 3 or 4 work days and receiving a shipping notice with tracking. A NOS item - they either have it or they don’t.

They finally replied and said it looks like it’s in transit and gave me a tracking number. So good to go. Maybe just me but I’ve become accustomed to most places providing a shipping notice and usually tracking. I guess some places don’t do that routinely however.

Ordered a master cylinder from them, charged my card and received nothing. Called them and they told me we won’t send you the part unless I send the old master back first. The company is located where the wildfires occurred and they said the power keeps getting shut off so they can’t send out orders quickly. They have good stuff but the owner doesn’t sound like things are going very well over there. Call and confirm any part you order to make sure they have it, he wasted 2 weeks of my time with no update on the order.

After all the above I discovered that an email from them with confirmation of shipping and tracking was sent and went into my junk folder. So they did everything you could expect a company to reasonably do. I just didn’t think to look in the junk file. My mistake.

I’ve used Moparmall before and it went well. Would use them again. Think I used them twice.
