it feels pretty good after all the above average temps during this month! The official highs for this month was 104 with 4 days of 100....several days of 99,98 etc but I clocked at least 7 days of 100 and a couple of 101's but nothing higher. And it's raining finally!! Been slow and easy and so far 1/4" but the grass is already responding to it and my shop fridge isn't running constantly. Stuck a bottle of room temp water in the freezer Sunday morning at about 7:30a and it wasn't frozen until 8pm. Thought my fridge was petering out but it was hot from the start that day and is one of the days that hit 101 here and stayed there until past 6. iirc it was 101 just a bit after noon time.

Watchin my local WX the other night, I've had 24 days of over 90* this month, we're also short over 2.5" of rain for the month too!

We were above 90 all but one day this month in North Florida. 103-104 for 3 days in a row last week. 92 right now but expecting afternoon rain like any other day ending in "Y" here in Florida

The Central Valley in Commiefornia used to get 30 plus days in a row of over 100. Over here on the Central Coast, we’ve hit that and a bit higher, but the difference is here, it cools off at night. This morning we had fog and last night it was friggin cold outside!!

We go to Cranky for weather 'today', take it away Cranky :poke:

according to the weather prognosticators
it's 86*-88* already here, be in the low-mid 90*s today
I assume by 4:00pm, is about when it peaks
slowly cools off when the sun gets off the asphalt & decks
about 8:00pm
it's still relatively low 17% humidity, a lil' breeze from the southeast
but feels hotter & more humid
supposed to be cooling to 75* at 8:00pm,
then lows down to 57* overnight :bananadance: , early at about 5:00am

supposed to heat up to about the same as today,
tomorrow
low-mid 90*s, with a lil' more wind, like 10+mph with a few higher gusts

Friday was hot, 94, with humidity that felt like 100 percent. You could feel it just walking through the parking lot on the asphalt too!! Hard to breath.

We've had it easier of late, a lot cooler than normal
mid low 80*s today, with 25% humidity
& supposed to cool off to 51*s tonight
it's been unseasonably cool the past few days/nights & early AM hrs
(if you think mid 80's to low 90's is cool)

both Highs or Lows are about 15*s less than normal
for here this time of season

I li ke it when it cools off at night
don't mind the hot days then

summer 'ain't over yet' thou

I see the valley is sweltering 100*+,
we must be getting some kind of inversion of cool air
instead of the valley heat rising/blowing in up here

I'm certainly not gonna complain

It's just weather & not climate change
if it were climate change it'd be hotter or cooler everywhere
instead of the localized & just regional stuff

Send that cooler stuff over this-a-way!
Oh yeah....it sort of comes this way naturally as it is. :)
