I ordered a set of Hedman headers and an install kit off ebay on Sunday night. The seller was JC Whitney. I get a message from ebay at about 12:05 Monday morning stating the headers had been shipped, which I took to be BS as who's shipping anything at 0005 Monday morning.

My wife just called and said the headers are at the house, at 10:30AM Tuesday morning! That's pretty impressive results for free shipping!

Hey Bru!
Yup, X2 on that!

I have purchased car parts from J.C. Whitney recently
(The restoration project: 'Ol Lucky" my 1988 Toyota 4X4 extended cab pick-up)

Good customer service
Yup, some parts came in from China? perhaps....

Haven't used them in years but have found parts through them that no one else had.....

Me too, i usually look there if i cant find it elsewhere.

We used to get J.C. Whitney catalogs in the mail fairly regularly. Haven't ordered from them in years. Do you old guys remember when you could have car club plaque custom made by them?

Yeah I use to get JC Whintey stuff allot way back when, 1970's mail/snail-order BS
mostly cheap or inexpensive crap, not very well made, allot of time foreign made too,
throw away 4x4 or Willys/Jeep crap/parts mostly, is what I got, maybe an odd cup holder or something...
It was going to get trashed anyway, maybe last one season, why spend a ton of $$$...LOL

I guess they may be a better supplier now...
I wouldn't know thou, I don't buy from them...

Probably because I still think of them as a cheap {crappy/foreign} parts supplier,
I can't get decades of the cheap/crappy made stuff out of my head...
Old habits/memories die hard...
