Found this place on facebook. Johanns mopar. They have several listings for sale and look legitimate. I did call and talk with him. Found him to be hard to understand. Says he does the work on the heads I am interested in.
Anyone know the company and how they deal with the public??
Johann's MOPAR YARD

Yeah he probably has that $1,400 in them
new valves, springs, hard seats, retainers/10* keepers
a lil time in porting, a lil machine work, & milling to get them flat
maybe flow like 260-270cfm from the description he gave

I got similar results doing the 906 heads that way too

unless you want old used cast iron heads
or a stock looking cast iron cylinder head

I don't know the guy, no offence intended either
maybe a great guy

But for $1,400 (get them on sale at 440source or Summit Racing)
I'd buy Edelbrock RPMs, bigger valves & better flow, better ports design, even before porting
they will flow better than what he described
for use of 99% stock architecture, you'll need special head bolts from ARP
but the rest of the parts stock arch. & parts will bolt right on, 40-60+ extra hp
right cam for the combo
& they're 55-60#s lighter, have superior chambers, w/angle pugs 14mmx3/4" reach plugs,
290cfm at 0.600" gvl out of the box
(a lil prof. pocket porting, roof removal, radiused/blending & get well over 330cfm),
Stainless Steel quality 'USA sourced' (all the parts from the USA, included the castings)
11/32" stems, bigger 2.18"int/1.81"exh valves, choices of style of springs etc.
you can get 75cc, 84cc or 88cc combustion chamber to dial in you compression
no heat crossover to make the intake fuel charge hot either
lots of pluses & new quality aluminum, made in USA cylinder-heads

Or the Edelbrock E-street are the same design
but lesser expense in the parts, valves, springs etc.
for a slightly cheaper set, good to like 5,500rpm, for a potent street build

there's better heads out there & cheaper heads out there too
(like Stealths Chinese alum. casted, assembled here, or Bulldogs ProMaxx etc.)
but for the middle of the road price & great performance
IMO best "bang for the buck"
#Edlebrock RPM's are a great value

I live in the Hartford area, and while I don't know everybody and all things Mopar, this is a new development and caught my eye. AFAIK, most of the auto machine shops are located in the suburbs of Hartford. Us nutmeggers are fortunate to have several good ones and at least one bad one to chose from.

If anyone lives nearby in Hartford and can call into Johanns Mopar Yard workshop and ask about an item for sale for me, I'll send you $50. If you know where it is and can assist, please PM me. I'm just doing some due diligence before agreeing to send a fair chunk of money, that's all. The Facebook page looks slick, but it seems new and doesn't seem to have a stand alone website.

I'm not making any suggestions and the business may be perfectly legitimate, but a few beers (or oil filters on me) if you can PM me and check it out....

Alternatively, if you've bought something from Johannes Mopar Yard, please let me know about your experience. I am just mindful anyone can post reviews on Facebook. I trust the Mopar community on this site more.Have a great day over there, or wherever you happen to be :)

"Beware of scammers! Johann’s Mopar Yard is posting parts for sale that are not his! Admins should block this guy! Johann told me he was in Pennsylvania. He copied description and photos on heads in Iowa! Proof below. Get rid of this scammer please! I had a suspicion about his ads and spent sometime looking into it."

FYI - 98% of XXXX`s Mopar Parts/Yards on Facebook are scams! Before you lose your money learn to spot them, it`s not that difficult.

BIG SCAM!

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully the wider Mopar community will get this warning and stay well clear of Johanns Mopar Yard.
New pages and scammers pop up every day on FB and the web, people need to learn how to spot them and use payment services that protect them or the scammers will keep taking their money.
