I just upgraded from whatever my old alternator was to a stock roundback-style 60 amp alternator. Are there any stock-from-any-make fans I could use that wouldn't pull too much current at idle with this alternator?
It almost never gets above 80 degrees here and it'd be nice to be able to ditch my mechanical fan completely. I just don't want to grab something out of a Caravan or whatever and find out my system can't handle the draw the first time it kicks on.

I have no room for an engine side .My fans came out of an early 2000's camaro or firechicken:toothy6:

No,it's a 100 amp 1 wire mounted low on the right side.I've never seen it go above 40 amps with fans & fuel pump on.
