Just wanted to let everyone know that I have put a 5.7 hemi and 5spd. auto into my 64 polara 500. There were some snags but overall it went pretty smooth.

If you want to see some pics, let me know and I'll try to figure out how to post them.

Guys on the '62-'65 Mopar site would be interested in this swap also.

Welcome. Posting pics is easy. Just hit "go advanced" instead of "quick reply" then use the "manage attachments" button to open a popup and upload your pics

I think this is working????

If antone has questions , I'll try to answer them the best I can. I did do away with the truck manifold and used a Charger one instead so the engine does have a different look.

I take it that is a truck 5.7 and not one from a Charger or like?

Truck 5.7, charger intake on it now due to some firewall clearence issues.

Cool beans. It gonna have MDS also?

btw, love the wheels

It's an 03' so no mds, thank God.

The wheels I got on Ebay for less than 500, and they are Foose rims. the fronts are 15x7 245/60 and the rear is 15x8 275/60 the fit is really good.

I think it would be the tits to have the MDS AOD and 3.91s and go hit the power tour!

I put in the 5spd auto and also 3:91s so this should get off the line in a hurry and get decent gas milage.

Hope some can use what I've done and go the extra mile.

No, I made them at work and then had our chrome shop put an industrial chrome on them.
