Proforge greasable pivot, poly LCA bushing, and with weight of car (with engine) on front suspension, provided pivot lock nut spinning pivot prohibiting torque to 130lb/ft. Any advice appreciated.

Hmm. May have to back the bars out, pull the arms out, pull bushings off the shaft, get something latched onto the shaft to stop rotation, the torque it. Relaod the components. Great question as I have the Delrin units for my 65 and will need to do this in the future too.

Thanks ckessel. Provided proforged lock nut was threading on incorrectly. Was able to remove junk nut and repair threads as best possible. Now have a non lock nut on and thinking I’ll go with a lock washer or a nyloc

My stuff is from Firm Feel. Bought it many years ago, but have not used it yet. Would have been a pisser to get everything loaded in just to have to take it all back apart. Your question saved me from an oh poo episode like what you found out. Looking at your picture, I used that thick washer under the nut as the first ring of reinforcement on the 70 K I worked over for the 65. Found a structural flat washer that fit around the outside of it for more bite.
