Hey Guys...I have a question on setting up my leaf springs on my 73 Satellrunner...specifically, will the following setup work and is it alright for street use? My goal is to raise the rear 1-2 inches.

I am swapping in a 72 8 3/4 rear. I want to run the super stock springs from 72 with the new hangers. Will that work? Or is there a better option?

What length shocks do I need?

That will work fine what we did on my moms car was took an old set of leaves cut of the eyes about 4 inches back and restacked useing this just below main raised 2 or 3 inches and stiffened it up towed a few cars behind it didnt affect the rearend also still used sway bar on it road decent sat decent and u can use factory height shocks just an opinion im doing this on mine and throwing away the shackel kit thats on it and useing 14 x 10 cragers on it wont need to worrie about them rubbing

Check your pinion angle before change and duplicate it after change. If not you could get high speed hum or vibration and prematurely wear U-Joints.
