Led dimmer switch

Hello,
I bought new Autometer gauges that have all LED lights. It came with a dimmer switch and it says to splice it in all the white wires.
I have 6 gauges, so would I take all 6 - 12V wires splice together with only the switch. And the Purple wire to the 12V dimmer switch?
Does the dimmer on the stock light switch not work with LED bulbs?

Probably not....if you try this the dimmer may stop working.

Follow those instructions and you should be fine - as long as you are connecting the dimmer ONLY to the LED lamps on the Autometer gauges.
