so it really is that easy. I was worried about the bolts, etc.

so carriage bolts--button heads with square shoulders--are what you used?

Na, the carriage bolts would be for the bracket(if I decide to move it forward). I used 5/16-18 bolt and nut on the seat frame. It was really easy

ah. didnt the nut interfere with the track sitting flush on the floor?

The bolt head sat inside the track and the nut is under the seat frame, below the cushion. I haven't messed with the carriage bolts that go through the body of the car. That's next. I should've taken more pictures.
