I’m just starting the process of working on my recently purchased RR. It was parked for 30-ish years in climate controlled storage. Body and frame seem to be pretty rust free. Surface rust in trunk but seems pretty solid. But tons of work to do getting her road ready. Let’s see your Road Runners for some inspiration! I’ll start…

My cousin had a 74 twin ^^ in high-school, 400 4 spd. A few yrs ago acquired another twin, 400 auto 30k MI survivor.

Very nice, one of the best color schemes for the 73 Road Runner. But i’m prejudice since mine is Basin Blue with Tomato Red stripes.

Here is my 73 340 car. I have owned it for 42 years and was my first car. I bought it for the whopping sum of $400.

It is a 340, 727 Slap Stik and console, 3.55 sure grip with A/C and rear defroster. About 7 years ago the original numbers matching engine threw a rod out the side of the block. I found another 340 block cast 2 days before my original block and I stroked that engine so she currently displaces 416 cubic inches. Last, year, I drove it 11,097 miles on a cross country trip.
