Let's Debate

You can also rotate the
Watts 90deg from that
illustration and mount the
link bars side to side.
That orientation normally precludes any adjustability of roll center adjustment, and IMO why its not in favor and likely only seen on rock crawlers?
If that is the focus of this debate, I'm out.:steering:

In the interest of engineering
alternatives, you can bail if
you wish. But the chassis we
designed requires no roll
center adjustment. It's fixed
via weight calculations
around a roll center that
remains constant. The only
suspension system that
allows for your requested
adjustment for roll center
contained in the system
itself, is the Jacob's system.
The other items that may
change that center are
spring rates and/or tire
characteristics, and
adjustment positions
on the 4 link which you
seem not to take into
account.
Your debate is welcome as
you seem to have some
experience and a grasp
of the knowledge.
Just so happens, my rig
is not a rock crawler. The
system is working
flawlessly and I couldn't
be happier.
It was designed around a
pre-selected set of
parameters, and run thru
a finite analysis.

If you are happy, then I'll move on.
