Hi everyone. My dad has run into a bad string of luck with his '66 Satellite. We are certain his matching numbers 383 block is cracked due to an incompetent machine shop, (less than 1500 miles on rebuild). His current block is date coded 12/8/1965, and we are on the hunt for one date coded August of 1965 through 12/8/1965. Can not be after 12/8/1965 because his car is 12/9/1965. All we need is the block and main caps, nothing else. We're in central Nebraska and can make a short trip to pick up, but need something in good, rebuildable condition with cylinders usable at .030. I know this is a long shot finding a correct block in the next few months, but any leads are much appreciated. Thanks!
