Looking for my original 1968 440 block 8B317346. March build date, most likely cast early 68. Last seen in late 1980s Brooklyn/Astoria New York. Sold to a guy who ran a car named "Brooklyn Mopar"

My dad just found one in his garage hes gonna sell doesnt look like he wrote down the vin tho, look familiar? In central MNa

There is a vin # at the back of the block where it mates to the bell housing like the one below.

Ill see if he can find it, unfortunately hes in thr beginning stages of dementia, so easy task can be tough

1968 is that grey time frame where not all vins were stamped. I wish you all the luck in the world, but keep in mind, it may have never had a stamped block. I always laugh when I see mopars advertised as matching numbers, before 1968. Kind of like, frame off restoration on a unibody….
