I'm trying to find my old 1969 Roadrunner.
I sold it to a guy locally in NW Ohio, and he sold it to a young man (locally) within a year or so of purchasing it from me..
I do not have any direct contact information for either of the two owners after me...
The VIN was very unique!!! RM21H9A100001
When I was at Halloween classics (Norwalk Ohio) back in the mid 90's, I was camped next to a group racing a Dodge Challenger (72?)... I pointed out the VIN and the last 6 digits (sequence numbers)..
He tried buying it from me on the spot!!!!!!
Anyhow,,, my wife has brought it up several times that I need to track it down and try to get it back!!
It would look great setting next to my 67!!

Any thoughts on how to locate it?
    Thanks..

        No luck...
Ohio Tittle and BMV only goes back 10 years... All original records have been destroyed, and only new records are recorded in a computer database....
Insurance companies share the same story!!
        Well,,, the search continues!

Cars were not built in vin order. So we don’t know when it was built for sure.

@67 B-body, did the car have a fender tag or broadcast sheet. Any possibility you, have any photos of it? Do you remember any of the original equipment? What color was it?

I do not have pictures of the fender tag or broadcast sheet....
The original color was not the lime light green seen in the picture (OP), it was rather a dark green F5 I think.... The interior was still the original color...

                Little update..
first I need to apologize for some misinformation..
The VIN number I first provided was a little inaccurate.
I spoke with my cousins Son today, trying to see if his Dad had any old records of the car (He passed away last year) that I purchased from him..
He informed me that the VIN sequence number was not 00001, it was 00002!
The RR with 00001 was also local, and sat for decades behind a barn... It was sold for 30+ thousand around 2000 year....
Anyway, the correct VIN should be RM21H9A100002

All the best of luck with your search. I have been looking for my departed elder cousin's '64 426/4sp Polara for his daughter he bought new on and off for years. Not even a glimpse of any luck having the VIN. Odds are the car was crashed, rusted to chit (mid-west car) crushed, or maybe the motor and train were removed for another car. Hope part of it still lives somewhere.

#2 vin is just as cool as number 1. Anything with a bunch of 0’s first is a cool vin
