440 six pack, approximately 1000 miles out of complete rebuild. Purple Cam. Been running great. I parked it about 2 weeks ago and removed the negative power cable. Removed the summer washer mix from windshield washer.
Today reconnected battery cable cranked right up went for a Sunday drive. Got into it a - little nothing radical 2nd gear tire squeal, and immediately acts like it ran out of gas then caught back up.
Returned toward home and at low power seems like running out of gas. No backfiring, starts and idles seemingly normal, but normal acceleration just don't work. Again like it is running out of gas momentarily. I did replace all the rubber hoses I could from the fuel lines about a month or so ago (could vapor lock be a possibility).
I do have a clear float bowl sight glass. Installed it in the center carb and seems to be sufficient fuel.
Anyone have any ideas?
