It's with a weighted heart, that I post the passing of Tom Tignanelli..friend and mopar great. Lots of people will miss his "character", and the immense
contributions to Chrysler and the mopar racing community. He passed on Wednesday, and his viewing is tomorrow, in Sterling Hts. Mi. He helped a lot of people with their mopars
thru the years. Shadowoods Racing has always been cutting edge.
Godspeed, my friend. Many will miss you.

For those wishing to pay respects..

Thanks for letting us know.

When I was just a kid street racing on Gratiot Ave., I would stop in at the Sunoco/Shadowoods racing on Gratiot & 13 mile.

I was a nobody in the racing scene, just a dumb *** hot rod kid. Tom treated me like I was in his circle of friends. I’d ask a couple questions about what was under development in his shop and he would talk to me for an hour about the latest stuff he was working on.

So friendly to me. Very knowledgeable and would to help me on what ever I had going on.

RIP Tom.

RIP Tom. No red lights where you are going. It's all green and win lights from here.

Same here. We hung out quite a bit in the last few years. I just had breakfast with Jim Tig and the "Sunday Crew". We'll all be at the viewing later today. Funeral tomorrow.
