Instant ********, just add snow...

You need to add pictures of the 4WD/AWD vehicles stuck in the ditch. It always impressed me the best traction vehicles were the first ones stuck.

Your vehicle traction is only as good as your tires!

Humans are warm-blooded, non-aquatic mammals as a species.
As such, they have a natural aversion to all things not warm and dry.

What am I missing here?

I commuted long distances over my career in Wisconsin and Minnesota.I agree that it seemed like just about everything in the ditch was 4WD's. It's a false sense of security for sure.

had a rabbit diesel way back in the day........ ****** was unstoppable in the snow!

Late '70's, my 1965 Dodge Coronet 500, 273, Auto. I put 4 snows on it for winter driving. It was like a "sled on rails". We'd grab a case, some 8-tracks, and head out to where they didn't plow yet. NEVER had it pulled out, or towed. Early day's of "drifting" with it !!!

The cute girl up above, ^^^^^
It appears her air bags were deployed !!!
(And, we like them !!!)

I remember when I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I commuted to Denver for work my last 5 years there. We’d just got hit with a pretty good one and I was headed up the 60 mile drive on the next clear and sunny day. I counted 88 cars in the ditch on my up. And these were people that supposedly knew how to drive in snow.

I've always had a 4wd never in the ditch, unless I wanted to.
