Mechanic Near Michigan City Indiana

I am looking for a mechanic you can recommend in the Michigan City Indiana 46360 area. I'm having issues starting my 69 Roadrunner and I thinks is time for a professional to look at. Please any suggestions about a mechanic within 30 miles would be appreciated.

Well that would be nice, but I believe I'm beyond forum help. Need someone who's more qualified to look at the problem.

There is one hell of a lot of knowledge here. Nothing to loose by stating your problem and see what advice comes your way. You just might find the one thing you never thought of or tried.

I tried to start the roadrunner but it won't stay on. Checked/changed ballast resistor, coil, ignition switch and nothing. Also took a wire from battery to coil and started for about 5 minutes and then it shutdown. Can it be the wires from ignition switch? Checked the bulkhead and it all looks good.
