Been a big follower of Fitzee Fabrication on YouTube and I’ve gotten a lot faster and better at making and patching.

Pretty happy with how it’s going so far. 1st car I’ve ever painted, but as many on here have stated....”prep is the key”

Added oil, and primed the filter and made sure the oil flowed....perfect.
Front end is in and very happy to have all the parts I’ve been rehabbing for the last 14 months , go into the car

Seeing the light near the end?

Yes . It’s a process, but it’s fun now that I’m past all the rust issues and worries about if I can paint ect.....

....ah, Sanding and more sanding......then,.....how about some more sanding? I think I may have a perfection issue....

MN GOLD gets paint! 4 Coats....and waiting. 8hrs from now I'll go back in and take a peek....

I am, going to re-spray in the morning to fix a Lille mottled areas

My guy ran into ring outs when buffing my B3 car. I hope you don't get that. It caused him grief. He had to re shoot some panels. It was PPG Delstar Acrylice Enamel. But it sure looks good now. I can shave in the quarters. I love that Delstar. Too bad its gone now! Beautiful work and keep pushing my friend. Its inspiring to others!

Respray is complete. Results.......well, too soon to tell. Color appears much better......but orange peel may be my next worry......we shall see.....

So as its drying, it looks like the color is turning out great......but, its a little on the eggshell dullness side. 1500 Grit compound in a week or so?

Wooowee.....we're going all the way. If anyone has a favorite polishing system of method, feel free to link it here.
