Modern Bullitt build

Your attention to detail and flawless execution is unparalleled Pat!! This thing will be a trophy winner everywhere! Hopefully you have plans to show it off after it’s finished.

Thank you sir! But I’m afraid to say that the attention to detail and flawless execution is a byproduct of doing the same thing 2 or 3 times before I get it right ;-)

That's it, just 2 or 3 times?

:)

Emergency brake cables installed using a small stainless steel roller that I got from West Marine. It guide the E brake cable after it passes through the sub frame connector.
Thanks
Pat

thats slick, with the pulley, I have the same issue, might steal that idea, :poke:

Great build. On the last pic, are you using a nut and bolt or just a bolt to hold the e-brake cable mount? Also, may I ask where you got the e-brake lines? My new factory ones don't work well crossing over 3" exhaust. I want to do as you did and split the cable just before the rear. I was thinking Control Cables, Inc. but have not committed as of yet.

It’s a Wilwood kit design for their disc/drum emergency brakes. I believe is from a Ford explorer?? Locar also sells the same kit.
The mount in the last picture is 1/4-20 bolts drilled and tapped into a 3/16” steel
Thank you!

Not a fun weekend installing the rear glass and trim. AMD glass was not a problem but fitting the trim took two or three times to get everything just right. Fortunately no chips or scratches just a lot less hair on my head ;-)

Thanks

Pat

I HATE the window trim. It's a beast to install. I especially like it when you have it all in but that last little clip and ........ Wham. Five clips let go. So take it from me I know seeing those beautiful after pictures are great but no way do they come close to explaining the trouble you went thru. I hate them. But love them so much when they are done right.

Dumb question here Mr. Pat but can these rear windows be put in backwards? Its been awhile since I removed the one from my car but yours looks like the window curves outward and I swear when I removed mine it curved inward. Mine was just laying in place with no trim installed. As always your work is the greatest and I try to follow your way of doing things closely in my own build.
thanks

It’s an easy mistake to make, but the glass should curve out.
Thanks

Rear glass and trim is a PITA but you did a wonderful job!

what was the black material you used on the package tray?

Really? Wow that's interesting.
Well I know of a certain sport satelite I did for my brother in law that has the glass in backwards. Face palm.

I painted the package tray the same time I painted the trunk and interior using single stage black paint.
Thank you!
Pat
