Mopar 4.7 pickup V8 decent little engine or crap ?

I got a really good deal on an 05 Cherokee with a 4.7 that threw a rocker out.
It made a bunch of noise, just popped it back in and it didn't happen again before it was sold shortly thereafter.
I would think it was a fairly common problem.

I have a 04 Grand Cherokee.wth one,never have
had a problem.
Have towed my bass boat all over,has a factory tow
package.
Take care of regular maintenance of course.
