Don't know that the plate brackets really needed to be that fancy. But I liked the way they look. I like to fab stuff. Single stage urethane. Any pup housing will work. You can trim it the plate thickness if you want the pulley alignment to stay.

My front and mid-plates are both home made. I left the front plate extra tall and mounted everything to the front plate like vac pump, over flow catch can, alternator, coil etc. I think it made for a clean look and everything comes out with the engine. Nothing on inner fenders or firewall.
