MSD Cap Wire Retainers

Anybody hate the plug wire retainer MSD uses on their cap like I do? Easy fix. Hit it gently with a step bit.

I just spray with Silicone spray

I think they’re junk until modified.
Normally they make the garbage bin.

Yes. They're cheaply made and break too easy when trying to take the boots out.

Why use it? i don’t, I think they are ugly and the wires fit very snuggly as it is?
