Yeah, I looked up the 66 fury and have to agree it's got the lines of it. The rear roof like looks the same too. The coronet doesn't appear to have the roof line in my opinion.

I would say 65 fury is closer. Definitely not a coronet. No way. Look at the quarter panels and tell me thats a coronet.

It's the waste of man hours that bugs me. Before any hot rodder takes on a big project ask a designer to take a look at it. I'm a Industrial Designer and i see this happen too often although to a lessor scale. There's a reason most factory stuff looks better than aftermarket chop ups and it not the amount of trying.

It's a mopar...Looks like a Coronet roof line, with some work done..Look at the roof turret molding, same as the Coronet. Unfortunately...

It's either a '65 or a '66 Fury III or a Sport Fury hardtop. The roofline is different here than on a '66 Coronet, plus the rear window has a LOT more curvature (shown) than the Coronet.

66 Dodge Polara. The fender is a dead giveaway. Not a Fury. That has to be about the weirdest thing I have ever seen.

I don't know if that is the weirdest thing I have ever seen, the Japanese folks do some pretty crazy mods, but to their credit, at least the fabrication is better than that thing!!!

No need to worry, it isn't a b body. Looks to me like a 66 Monaco. As ghastly as it looks, at least the rear bumper is fairly smooth.

Yeah..you are right, the roof pillar is way narrower on the coronet. That's an awesome car you posted by the way.. ;)
