My In Violet 69 GTX project

Reinstalled window and chrome window seal cover assembly back together! Now I need to fix the door lock hole on the door, it appears to be a bad weld repair, will post photos of the door at a later time.

Went to work on the door assembly Saturday Removed window regulator and cleaned and regressed, cleaned up the booger weld repair on the door I believe this hole was placed wrong for the door lock, got it cleaned enough to install the door lock trim ring, but the lock pull (black plunger is tight). Sprayed primer over bare metal and will clean up paint wise at another date, those who have seen my car at Midwest mopars know it is not show quality... haha. Reinstalled vent and window assembly, and adjusted on the bench.

After church this morning my wife came and gave me a hand reinstalling the door, test fit and adjusted fitment of forward and rear gaps and latch setup for easy door open and closing. I will need to adjust the rear quarter glass due to the fact the front glass is difficult to roll up with the door closed. I have to replace the rear window regulator anyways so I will take care of that then (handle screw broke off in post)but got the door on and took for a spin, sorry door installed picture is inside car capsule that's why it's so dusty.

Has anyone adapted a dual snorkel air cleaner to work on a 13" drop base do I need to grind off the spot welds for the baffles to get it to fit, i am running a 4150 holley carburetor on an edelbrock performer intake, I don't have hood to carb clearance to run the original base plate.

Waiting on grinding the welds on the air cleaner for now but did install @Crackedback headlight harness and wow I did not realize the headlights could be that white installed very easily and fits in with the existing harness can barely tell it is in there! Filled unplugged connectors with dielectric grease and tapped up with electrical tape.

Anyone else run into both dash board turn signal indicators flashing when turning with high beams on? Or is this just another example of me needing to replace my dash harness?

Headed to work on Tuesday and blew my fusible link, found I had positioned the alternator charging wire up against the alternator and while driving it wore through the sheathing causing a dead short, I have to order a new fusible link any suggestions on where to get one other than classicindustries.com and yearone.com the shipping is astronomical.

I also received a package from ebay today, for the lower dash cover so I figure why not see if I can get that in as well before

Now to wait for my order from classic industries for the battery tray and fusible link... the shipping was a bit less horrendous adding some other needed parts but man it's steep!

Thanks to @kyle340 I was able to get my dash mostly covered! Looks great would be better if my dash pad was not worn and warped...

Replaced my fusible link and took it for a drive ran great looking forward to Midwest Mopars in the park!

Sorry it's been awhile, been busy catching up on missied work and my wife had a minor Nadal surgery but I am back at it here is some things I got done before and during mopars in the park.

Found a sew on leather steering wheel cover and my lovely wife sewed it on for me, definitely more comfortable on long trips!

Found some trim rings 14" and 15" front and rear for my magnum 500 knock offs and definitely improve the look!

I am planning on installing some auxiliary gauges under the dash today for battery voltage and oil and adding my existing coolant one to the pod mount, I tried a new dash voltage regulator to no avail so I am guessing my gauges my be kaput but I will test those at a later time.

Succeded in installing the gauge pod, works great no oil leaks and I got great news 50 psi at idle 75 psi under load!

And yes as you can see in the photo I have been driving the car for the past decade without a gas pedal...
