Yeah, he's not a spring chicken any more. He's even older than me!
I have seen a few good sized vendors bail out on the big shows. They can make more money by staying home and selling online..Yeah, he's not a spring chicken any more. He's even older than me!
One vendor I know talked about how much it cost him to vend at the Nats or Carlisle. Thousands of dollars invested and you have to sell a lot of re-pop screw kits and radio knobs to make up that cost. 3 trucks with enclosed trailers, lot's of fuel, a week's lodging for 4-6 people. Food for 4-6, rent a huge tent, side curtains are extra, Vender booth spaces, (they usually rent 6-8), and all the set up and tear down. Oh, at least 2 days to pull the merchandise and pack it before you leave and then put it away when you get back home. Nuff said.I have seen a few good sized vendors bail out on the big shows. Thanks to new Government intervention/changes.( not political).Laysons no longer comes to Moparfest. I talked to them 2 years ago at Carlisle and the customs hassles were too much for them.
All 64's do except the Max Wedge cars.
I might give this one a try. It's a new design from Gary Pavlovich. It looks like the old Weiand. View attachment 1975299
Only the Hemi cars lost the hi beams. All 64's do except the Max Wedge cars.
Probably so. I did the same with a LD4B for my Swinger. Nope, I don't need an aluminum intake and 4 barrel on that car. The stock stuff works too well. I rebuilt the carb on my 64 and it works well. The intake I just bought may get sold at a swap meet if I decide not to put it on. I bought it cheap enough. It's one of the newly made copys of the old Weiand. It's just too bad it isn't a dual plane. That's what most of us want. I know they are a lot tougher to cast because they are complex.Once you start modding... you will start liking it less.. just saying![]()
The inner bulbs still appear to be front and center to me!!!!My car started life as a 6 cylinder car and was converted to a race car many years ago (by previous owners). If you look closely, you can see that the two inner lights were removedView attachment 1975619

I always loved the candy cane/barber pole stripes on the old nostalgic mopar race cars.
I think there was only 1 Candymatic car in 63. All the rest were lettered with the Ramchargers logo.I always loved the candy cane/barber pole stripes on the old nostalgic mopar race cars.
