I wonder if yours was Dark Moonstone (KL8) ??I never knew what I had when I bought this '74 while still in high school in 1977. Do you think it's stripe was the V6K code stripe as well?

Hard to tell in that picture. There is also V6R which is the graduated red which kinda looks like yours.
That's our interior too!Yes, I distinctly remember that my paint was called Dark Moonstone, and the off-white vinyl top on the car was also factory. I bought the car in 1977 at a Chevrolet dealer here in Maryland that I was working at part time as I was finishing up high school. Someone had traded it in on a new Chevy and I picked it up before it was offered for sale on their used car lot.
I've never seen another one exactly like it and I sure wish that I had it today.....
Here's what the cloth interior looked like on mine that your article refers too. I found this pic online of a 73 Charger interior....

how about this guy:the only source for the gradated reflective stripes is Phoenix Graphics... The red ones are incorrect. Dunno the rest but I bet they are also not tottaly correct.
Original stripes were made on silkscreeen, while the ones they sell are printed. Althought the printing pattern they make is really good to emulate the sillscreen pattern, they miss a black layer over the gradation, which makes them look wrong
