ok.. i now have my moter... 512 cu in..505 hp with 605 ft. lbs for torque.. I spoke to Lenny at Ultimate and he said i need to find an 11" hemi, non lock up, wide gear torque converter. he will rebuild it to match the weight of the car, engine, rear end, etc.. Does anyone know where to look or find a good (can be rebuilt) hemi non lock up toque converter? thx for your responses in advance.

I think I'd just call dynamic or A&A .... I was looking for a factory 11" hemi converter for my 383 and found nothing ... good luck !

thanks 65-440. i spoke to Lenny yesterday and he is looking for an 11" converter but said, "cores have dried up". Key is finding a core that can be rebuilt by Lenny.

The 10" cores are out there but I had the same situation in 2014. I told him that they are not hard to find out here in CA. Most C bodies, trucks and vans used the 11" or 12" converter.
