Does anyone know of a machine shop and mopar engine builder in Pa, have a 6 pack engine that needs some work and I have another 6 pack engine that needs a rebuild? thanks

I am in Harrisburg, I had a guy build an engine and used the wrong crank instead of the one I gave him so I have trust issues and wanted someone close.....

Does anyone have experience with Ray Barton? I called him and he said he had 50 engines on the book and it would be 6 months till he could build. He wouldn't give me a cost estimate until he could see my parts, I heard he was not cheap..... http://raybarton.com

he is BIGGG money and prob worth the dough...that's what he's known for. 62MAX's guy is over 4hrs from you...my guy is a bit over 2hrs from you...give them both a call and see who your comfortable with. good luck!

This guys probably 4 hours away from you but definitely a great Mopar engine guy. Also very honest and trustworthy.

Mike at HP has had his hands in many of the better running FAST Mopar wedge builds, along with countless other very nice high level cars.

There’s usually a set or two of heads at my shop going onto something he’s working on.

how far from NJ are you? There is a mopar guru named Mike Bonsanti in Morristown NJ who is "THE" guy in Jersey.
read down to Ed Cook's Roadrunner in this article

he's not cheap but the only guy i would trust...he just did a laundry list of items on my 72 Roadrunner. He owns HP motors in Morristown.
Mike is amazing!! But if he is too far from you another legendary mopar shop is Bob George

I’m down in York. We used Barton back around the early 2000’s when I ran around with some guys outlaw racing. He had built them a all aluminum Hemi with a Procharger. He does everything with new parts, they junk stuff that you would never think of throwing out. But, if you want all new and the best of the best you can’t go wrong, and it’s pretty local. Only other real builder I would trust with anything is Race Krafters in Lancaster. They don’t specialize in Mopars but they do good work.
