Neighbors Sue Man for Working on Cars in His Garage

off topic a bit but I gotsta know , ever been around a chicken shed when their cleaning it out
YES!! Or followed a semi load of chickens down a two lane highway on a hot summer afternoon? (Back before cars had A/C). BTW, I live a half mile from a guy that raises hogs. It doesn't smell as bad as the diesel fumes and McDonalds stink from the interstate in the other direction.

I'll volunteer to do the blond I want to hear her scream then I can sue her for noise violation! Those two need to be shoot !

I know how you guys feel, I to worked on cars in my car and a half garage, in a tightly packed residential area. The seventeen years I lived there, the city came out three times, with only one warning. Yeah I fixed cars for cash, but I never would tell that to the city. But in my view, he's pushing the issue. Even though he's not charging for repairs, or claims not to. He's running a garage. But as the judge say's, the plaintiffs didn't prove their case. They lacked evidence to back up their claims. The little I know about the supreme court. They would never consider a case as trivial as this.

Looks like it aint gonna be over any time soon........

At the judge’s request, both parties have filed briefs regarding Walker, Foulke and Kane’s assertion that Williams violated Sussex County code by building his garage and should pay $100 a day in fines. Going back to 2010 when neighbors say Williams’ auto repair operation was in full bloom, he would now have accumulated more than $200,000 in fines. The judge’s decision is pending.

Both Foulke and Kane are determined to take their case to Delaware Supreme Court.

“We are going to go to the supreme court because this harms everybody,” Foulke said. “This has been nonenforcement from day one.”

Update update: The honorable Judge Sam Glasscock just issued his opinion denying all further claims against Williams.

I had to clean our chicken coop when I was a kid. I'm lucky to be alive.
Same here, and we farmed pigs as well. I'd rather clean out the pig pens any day compared with the chickens.

a friend of mine owns a small winery and had a bird issue so he took things into his own hands and started shooting birds once a day for about an hour .not long after the police came round and said they had a complaint that the shooting was disturbing a near by neighbor.so he knew which neighbor it was and approached them and explained why he was shooting the birds & asked nicely which was the best time to do so.shooting the birds was quite legal unless you are disturbing someone.in reply the neighbor said no time was good.so my friend installed what we call gas guns or bird scares which is a timed propane gas gun which a 100 % legal to operate during daylight hours .guess what the gun goes off every half hour and the neighbor cant do a thing about it.don't you love karma

At long last a Judge with his head screwed on the right way.
