Hi all,
Got the whole front suspension off of the Super Bee. Getting ready to start reassembly, waiting on a few parts such as new upper control arm cam bolts, strut rods and other odds and ends.
While waiting, I figured I start with the installation of the new upper control arm and get them in place, ready for the cam bolts when they arrive. Getting the old arms out were a pain but they came out. Starting with the left side, I can get the forward bushing installed pretty far into its location. The back bushing is being a bit of a pain in the ***. I don't wat to do something that ends up ruining the arm or the bushing, so looking for your help and expertise in how you might have done it on your MOPAR.
Control arms are from PST (now Kanter) number PST-MOPBEUPC-P. They appear to be exact in dimension on the bushing end. You can see in the pics that the forward bushing is heading in the right direction, but the rear is a bit off and not sliding into its position.
Can you mechanics help me out with some advice on how to "coax" the new a arms into position without destroying anything?
Thanks!!!
Bob
